Precision and Targeted Electrospinning

The aim of precision electrospinning is to be able to control the variance in the deposition location between nanofibers while in targeted electrospinning, the aim is to achieve greater accuracy in the location where fibers are deposited. Good precision is required to build ordered structures and patterns. With precision, the next step is to deposit the fibers accurately where it is needed and this requires targeted electrospinning. There are two concepts for precise and targeted electrospinning. One is to have a stable electrospinning jet and the second is to direct electrospinning jet to the desired deposition location. Some progress has been made in for both precision and targeted electrospinning and these will be discussed in the following webpages.
